This past weekend, Ryan Gosling hosted Saturday Night Live and paid tribute to his beloved character of Ken from last summer's Barbie movie. Much to the excitement of the online world, he did it in the form of a parody cover of Taylor Swift's "All Too Well."
Because she is a human with a heart that pumps blood, Swift loved it and shared praise for the Oscar nominee's tribute to her 2012 song.
For his opening monologue, Gosling strapped on a fur coat wistfully reminisced in song of his time portraying the male plastic doll to the tune of "All Too Well." He did a real nice job too!
Eventually he is interrupted by Emily Blunt, his co-star in the upcoming The Fall Guy, who joins in and does the same about her Oscar-nominated experience working on Oppenheimer.
Swift reposted a clip of the performance, writing, “All Too Well (Ryan and Emily’s Version)!!! Watch me accidentally catch myself singing this version on your. This monologue is everything.”
We'll have to wait until next month to see if Swift actually does "accidentally" sing their version when her Eras Tour gets back up and running for its European leg.
