Taylor Swift has been conquering the charts with Reputation, and now the country-turned-pop star is surprisingly making waves in country airplay again with her song “New Year’s Day.”
Although the soft and emotional ballad is not technically country, it has been promoted to country radio and is Swift’s first single marketed to the genre since 2013’s "Red" according to Billboard.
“New Year’s Day” is to debut at No. 57 on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart for the week of Dec. 2.
Currently leading the country ranks, LANCO has the No. 1 spot with “Greatest Love Story,” followed by Chris Janson with “Fix A Drink,” and “Unforgettable” by Thomas Rhett.
