All good things must come to an end, and that includes Taylor Swift's epic Eras Tour.
From the stage in Liverpool last night (June 13), Swift acknowledged she was performing her 100th show on the record-breaking tour. Explaining the experience "has definitely been the most exhausting, all-encompassing but most joyful, most rewarding, most wonderful thing that has ever happened in my life."
But despite the fact that she found time to record a brand new 31-track album during that time, she also revealed that she would eventually need to stop the tour at some point. That point being this coming December.
“[December] feels so far away from now, but then again, it feels like we just played our first show on this tour, because you have made this so much fun for us,” she said from the stage.
“I think that this tour has really become my entire life," she continued. "Like, it’s taken over everything… Just know that I appreciate every single ounce of effort that you’ve put into being with when this tour reaches triple digits of shows.”
Of course, before that happens, Swift still has to come to Canada to perform in both Toronto and Vancouver.
And there is always the box office-smashing concert film to rewatch over and over, so it's not like she hasn't given fans everything they could possibly want.
