Just call it a hunka hunka burnin' “Lover.”
Taylor Swift has tied Elvis Presley for the 10th-most Top 10 hits in the history of the Billboard Hot 100.
According to Nielsen Music, the title track of her new album went to No. 10 on the singles chart in its second week, giving Swift her 25th Top 10 hit.
Swift and Presley trail only Elton John and Janet Jackson (with 27), Stevie Wonder and Mariah Carey (28), Michael Jackson (30), Rihanna (31), The Beatles (34), Drake (35) and Madonna (38). It's important to note that Presley's career pre-dated the Billboard Hot 100.
Lover debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, giving Swift her sixth No. 1 album. According to Billboard, it accounted for 27% of all album sales in the U.S. during its first week of release.
In Canada, Lover also debuted at No. 1 and “Lover” jumped from No. 15 to No. 7.
