Taylor Swift will be honoured as Artist of the Decade at this year’s American Music Awards.
The pop star is set to perform a medley of her hits on the show, which airs live on Nov. 24.
“Taylor’s impact on music this decade is undeniable and her performances on the American Music Awards have been truly spectacular,” said Mark Bracco of dick clark productions, in a release. “We’re thrilled to honour her as our Artist of the Decade and can’t wait for her to blow everyone away with an epic, career-spanning performance unlike any other!”

Swift has won 23 AMAs and this year she is nominated in five categories, including Artist of the Year and Favourite Female Pop/Rock Artist. If she wins two, she’ll beat Michael Jackson’s record for the most AMAs.
Previous Artist of the Decade recipients include Jackson, Garth Brooks and Stevie Wonder.
