Taylor Swift was groped by David Mueller during a backstage meet-and-greet in 2013, a jury decided on Monday.
Swift won the sexual assault case against Mueller, which she filed against him after he sued her for defamation. The singer was awarded the symbolic $1 she sought.
Mueller’s case against Swift — that she caused him to lose his job as a radio host — was thrown out by the judge last week. Mueller had been seeking at least $3 million in damages.

Swift testified that Mueller reached his hand under her skirt and “stayed attached to my bare a**-cheek as I lurched away from him.
“It was a definite grab. A very long grab.”
In a statement released after the verdict, Swift said: "I acknowledge the privilege that I benefit from in life, in society and in my ability to shoulder the enormous cost of defending myself in a trial like this.
“My hope is to help those whose voices should also be heard. Therefore, I will be making donations in the near future to multiple organizations that help sexual assault victims defend themselves.”
