A teenager appeared in court on Friday accused of planning a terror attack at a Justin Bieber concert in Cardiff, Wales last month.

The 17-year-old boy, who cannot be identified due to his age, allegedly plotted an attack on fans on their way to Bieber’s show on June 30.

Police arrested the teen only hours before the concert, according to British media reports.

The accused appeared in Westminster Magistrates’ Court to face two charges under the Terrorism Act 2006 — preparing to commit acts of terrorism by conducting online research and obtaining weapons (a knife and hammer).

Investigators claim the teen, a white Christian who loved rugby and fishing, was radicalized online. He had allegedly prepared a suicide note.

The boy will remain in a youth detention centre until his next court appearance on July 20.

In May, a suicide bomber killed 22 people and wounded dozens more outside an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England. Bieber was one of several artists who performed at a benefit concert in early June.
