Kiehl’s Canada announced Thursday it has partnered with Tegan and Sara to raise funds for the pop duo’s newly-created charitable foundation.
The skin care company said it hopes to raise $50,000 for the Tegan and Sara Foundation through the sale of limited edition facial cleaners featuring labels with artwork by the Calgary-born Quin twins.
The 36-year-old singers announced last month that they set up a foundation to fight for the rights of LGBTQ girls and women.
"We want to ensure that girls and women live an empowered life, have equal opportunity, and the tools to succeed based on their gender and orientation,” they explained, in a release about the partnership with Kiehl’s Canada.
“We have worked closely with Kiehl's to design this national program, and we look forward to sharing Kiehl's Pride with Tegan and Sara.”
The Grammy-nominated pair, whose latest album is Love You to Death, will also give a special performance for Kiehl’s Canada contest winners.
