The Chainsmokers have announced they are taking a break from social media.
Drew Taggart and Alex Pall scrubbed their Instagram of all except one post explaining the hiatus.
“We are going to be taking some time to create our next chapter in music,” they wrote. “We have never been more inspired and are already hard at work on TCS4 but we are going to be taking a break from social media (minus a few obligations) to give it the attention it needs.”
In the message, which was also shared on Twitter, The Chainsmokers added: “We will be back soon (ish), but other than that next time you see our faces on here, will be when TCS4 is ready.”
The duo has 3.6 million Twitter followers and 8.2 million on Instagram.
The Chainsmokers have 19 shows remaining as part of their Las Vegas residency, which ends June 27, and then nearly a dozen gigs scheduled in the UK and Europe between August and October.
