The Chicks are on fire with Gaslighter, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.
The trio’s eighth studio album and first in 14 years is their fifth to top the chart, beating a record for all-female groups held by The Judds.
Gaslighter also ended its first week of release at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, which includes albums from all genres. It is the only country album in the Top 10.
The charts, dated Aug. 1, were published Tuesday.
In June, Natalie Maines, Emily Strayer and Martie Maguire announced they were dropping “Dixie” from their group's name.
