Eight years after they began, The Glorious Sons have been nominated as Best New Rock/Alternative Rock Artist at the 2020 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
The Ontario-based band’s “S.O.S. (Sawed Off Shotgun)” is up for Rock Song of the Year.
The Glorious Sons have released three studio albums, including last year’s A War on Everything. They kick off a Canadian tour on Feb. 27 at Toronto's Scotiabank Arena. The band reportedly had the most-played song on U.S. Rock Radio last year.
The iHeartRadio Music Awards, which honour last year’s most-played artists and songs on iHeartRadio stations in the U.S. and on the app, will be broadcast March 29 from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
Of course, fans can help choose the winners in several categories. Voting is open now and runs until March 23 at 8 p.m. ET (except the Best Fan Army category, which is open until March 27 at 9 a.m. ET).
