The Judds – Naomi and daughter Wynonna – will be honoured with a special exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville.
The Judds: Dream Chasers, which opens Aug. 10 and runs until next July, chronicles the rise of the music duo.
“The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is sacred ground, regarded with reverence and respect,” Naomi said, in a release. “I am so overjoyed to have the Judds’ career encapsulated in this new exhibit. I’m so proud of all the success Wynonna has accomplished and we owe everything to the fans who welcomed the Judds' music into their homes.”
Wynonna added: “I am truly humbled and grateful to partner with the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum to honour the Judds’ legacy and relive some of the special moments we shared with our fans.
“What an honour.”
Among the memorabilia on display are items from Naomi’s childhood, handwritten lyrics, costumes from various performances over the years, and some of the many awards the duo earned.
