The Weeknd tops the famous Billboard Artist 100 list in the U.S. for the week of Jan. 14.
The list combines album and singles sales, radio and streaming plays, as well as social media activity. This mix of data ensures a weekly ranking of artists' successes.
The singer has been in the top of this list for the 11th week now. His streaming counts being a big part of it, with 23.3 million U.S. plays in the last week of 2016.
Canadians are rocking the world's music scene right now, and the R&B singer is not the only one to make the list. Drake rises from #4 to #3, Shawn Mendes went from #8 to #7, Justin Bieber remains at #14, while Alessia Cara makes her way to #15, and our national crooner Michael Bublé holds strong at #26.
