The Weeknd is moving on up to a $27.9 million deluxe apartment in the sky.

The 29-year-old singer, who was raised in the Toronto suburb of Scarborough, is moving into a 763 square-metre penthouse on the 18th floor of a condo building in Beverly Hills.

Designed by Emaar Properties (the developer of Dubai's Burj Kalifa) and built in 2009, the building has only 35 residences on 22 floors. There's a gym, saltwater swimming pool and helipad.

The Weeknd's four-bedroom, four-bathroom abode, named “The Mogul,” boasts a wine vault, espresso bar, gym and four balconies. It has imported stone and oak floors, custom Italian Arclinea kitchens designed by Antonio Citterioas and walk-in wardrobes by MisuraEmme Of Milan.

The unit was listed at $22 million U.S. and, according to the Los Angeles Times, sold for $21 million U.S.

In 2017, The Weeknd spent $24 million on a mansion in the Hidden Hills area of Los Angeles. He also has a condo in Toronto.
