The Weeknd will demo his sense of humour in an episode of the animated series American Dad that airs next month.
The Canadian singer took to Instagram on Thursday to share a pic of himself holding a plush Roger next to series writer Joel Hurwitz. The Weeknd captioned it: “me and this guy wrote an episode of American Dad. also gonna play myself… kinda.”
The May 4th episode will also reportedly feature an original song by The Weeknd.
He’s evidently a fan of animated shows. Last year he shared his favourite episodes of The Simpsons on social media and, in 2016, he told Vogue: “My closet is like Bart Simpson’s.”
