Another music group is denouncing Donald Trump for using their music without permission. The White Stripes join a lengthy list of angry artists, after they claimed in a Facebook post that "Seven Nation Army" was used in a campaign video.
In the post, the band said "they have nothing whatsoever to do with this video," and that they "are disgusted by this association, and by the illegal use of their song."
It is unclear what video the band was referring to. There was a fan-made video that had audio of Donald Trump's speeches with "Seven Nation Army" mixed underneath it.
The White Stripes join a growing list of artists who have rebuked the Republican nominee after he used their songs. R.E.M., and Adele both spoke out after Donald Trump used their songs during campaign events. Queen said they were "frustrated" after Trump used their hit song "We Are The Champions" during the Republican National Convention.
