The Who is doing something no other rock band has ever done — follow in the footsteps of Celine Dion.
The legendary British group announced on Monday they’ll hit the stage of the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, which has been home to the Canadian chanteuse since 2003.
The Who is the first rock band with a residency at the Colosseum — and the oldest artists (Roger Daltrey is 73 and Pete Townshend is 71).
The Who will perform six shows at the venue between July 29 and Aug. 11. Tickets go on sale Friday.
The band has seven concerts scheduled for March and April in the UK.
The Who's "Who Are You?" was used as the theme to the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, which was set in Las Vegas.
In addition to Dion, the Colosseum has hosted shows by Elton John, Mariah Carey, Shania Twain, Bette Midler and Rod Stewart.
Dion’s residency includes shows in April, May and early June.
