Brett Kissel, James Barker Band, Tenille Townes and Guylaine Tanguay are among the nominees for the 2019 Canadian Country Music Association Awards (CCMAs).
The awards will be handed out Sept. 8 at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary with performances by Townes, U.S. band Old Dominion and more to be announced.
The CCMAs have resurrected the Entertainer of the Year category, which has only male nominees. Female artists dominate this year’s Single of the Year category.
