Canadian country singer Tim Hicks is kicking off 2017 with concerts from coast-to-coast!
The Shake These Walls Tour — named for his latest album — will start in Kelowna, B.C. on Jan. 6 and runs until Jan. 28 in Halifax.
In between, Hicks will stop in Vancouver, For McMurray, Saskatoon, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Hamilton, Oshawa, London, Sudbury and Moncton.
Last month, Hicks told iHeartRadio.ca when it comes to picking songs for an album, he thinks about what it will be like to play them live over and over.
“That’s my litmus test. How is this song going to fit into my live show? It’s got to feel good to sing and play and I learned that early on,” the 37-year-old said.
“You gotta love these songs because you’re going to play them every night.”
The set list will include fan favourites, of course.
“You have to play the songs that people want to hear,” said Hicks. “That’s why we do what we do. To put a smile on somebody’s face.”
