Tim McGraw surprised fans late last week by deleting his tweets and posting a cryptic message.
"I need Jesus or I need whiskey," read the only message for the country star's 3 million followers.
Early Monday, a tweet appeared with a Tennessee phone number and a promise. "I'll text you back :)"
The response via text reads: "Hey it’s Tim, this is an autotext to let you know I got your text, everything else will be coming directly from me or my team. I’ve got some pretty cool things happening this week, so make sure you add yourself to my phone to stay in touch!"
Has McGraw's account been hacked? Or does he really have something coming this week? So far there's been no comment from McGraw or his reps.
The 51-year-old wrapped up the Soul2Soul world tour with wife Faith Hill this summer. He hasn't relelased a solo album since 2015's Damn Country Music.
