Sam Smith has only tweeted four times since announcing he was going on a hiatus in March of 2016. But, last weekend we got a hint at what he's been up to thanks to Timbaland, who shared a shot of himself with the British singer.
Based on the hit producer's post, it looks like Smith is working on a follow-up to 2014's In the Lonely Hour.
"It was a pleasure working [with] this man," Timbaland captioned a studio pic of the duo with the hashtags #puretalent #goodvibes #makingmemories and #timeless #music.
Smith has also reportedly been in the studio with Poo Bear, the mastermind behind a string of Justin Bieber's Purpose cuts like "Where Are Ü Now" and "What Do You Mean?"
In late March, Daily Star Online reported that Smith is set to drop his sophomore effort in September, before launching into a worldwide tour.
