Those high-pitched screams you heard in the final minutes of Saturday night likely came from the teenaged girls (and some boys) reacting to Timothée Chalamet as Harry Styles on SNL.
The 24-year-old actor donned high-waisted pants and a frilly collar to portray the 26-year-old British pop star on the fictitious The Dionne Warwick Talk Show.
“Who are you?,” asked Warwick, played by SNL cast member Ego Nwodim.
The faux Styles explained he is a singer and fashion icon and then turned to the camera and said: “You could say I do it... for everyone.” He goes on to explain what many believe his hit “Watermelon Sugar” is about.

The sketch got a stamp of approval from the real Warwick, who celebrated her 80th birthday on Saturday. “This was a hilarious birthday gift,” she tweeted. “That young lady’s impression of me was very good.
“You did a wonderful job, baby. You are a star.”
So far, there has been no reaction from Styles, who marked the one-year anniversary of his album Fine Line on Sunday. “ couldn’t be more grateful for you all continually finding new ways to change my life,” he tweeted. “Thank you for listening, and for everything else. I always love you, but especially today.”
