TLC have been forced to postpone four Canadian shows on their current tour.
Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas posted a message on Instagram saying their shows this week in Moncton, NB (May 14), Windsor, ON (May 16), Niagara Falls, (May 17) and Peterborough (May 18) have all been cancelled due to illness.
Fans in Niagara Falls, however, have been lucky enough to have their show at Fallsview Casino rescheduled for October 3.
“We deeply regret to inform you that we must cancel the upcoming date,” the duo wrote about cancelling their show at the Avenir Centre in Moncton. “Unfortunately, a few members of our tour, including T-boz, have fallen ill with the flu. As a result, she has lost her voice. Doctors have advised her not to perform this week."
While three of the shows have been straight up cancelled, the two added that they hope to perform in those cities at some point soon.
“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause,” they added. “Your support means the world to us, and we look forward to the opportunity to perform for you in the near future. We love you and will see you soon.”
Additionally on September 12, TLC are set to play the Grey Eagle Event Centre in Tsuut'ina, AB.
