Rocker Tommy Lee claims he was knocked out by his son Brandon in a surprise attack at his home.
In an Instagram post he later deleted, the 55-year-old Mötley Crüe drummer shared a photo of a bloody lip captioned: “My heart is broken. You can give your kids everything they could ever want in their entire lives and they can still turn against you. Good job Brandon. Great son!”
Brandon, 21, is the oldest of two sons Lee has with Canadian actress Pamela Anderson.
TMZ reported on Tuesday that Brandon punched his father in self-defence during a fight at Lee's home on Monday night.
Lee called the report “bulls**t” in a tweet. “My fiancé and I were in bed when my son busted into the room and assaulted me. I asked him to leave the house and he knocked me unconscious. He ran away from the police. THAT’S the truth.”
The violence comes days after Lee tweeted about an interview Anderson did with Piers Morgan, in which she recounted abuse she suffered at the hands of her ex in 1998 (for which Lee went to jail).
“Think she’d find something new to discuss instead of rehashing old shit but I guess she has nothing else going on & needs attention,” he tweeted, adding that Anderson “texts everyday & asks for me back”.
Lee recently got engaged to Brittany Furlan, 31. It will be his fourth marriage.
