Thirty Seconds To Mars guitarist Tomo Miličević announced Monday he has officially left the band.
The news comes about three months after the musician took a break from the group due to “personal matters.”
In a statement he shared on social media, Miličević said: “Believe me when I say that this is the best thing for me in my life and also for the band.
“This is a good thing and will be good for everyone.”
The 38-year-old guitarist, who joined the band in 2003, thanked bandmates Jared Leto and brother Shannon Leto “for allowing me the privilege to be a small part of their dream and to have been able to share the stage with them for so long.”
Thirty Seconds To Mars is currently on the Monolith Tour, which is scheduled to wrap up on Sept. 12.
