Tool is back in a big way.
The band’s first album in 13 years, Fear Inoculum, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 – making it the biggest rock release since Dave Matthews Band’s Come Tomorrow in June 2018.
According to Nielsen Music, Fear Inoculum sold 270,000 equivalent album units in its first week.
Tool’s previous album, 2006’s 10,000 Days, also debuted at No. 1. Overall, Fear Incoculum is the band's third No. 1 album.
Tool knocked Taylor Swift’s Lover from the top spot on the chart and beat the debuts of Lana Del Rey’s Norman F**king Rockwell, which is in third place, and Lil Tecca’s We Love You Tecca, which is No. 4.
