Singer Tori Kelly is reportedly in L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center receiving treatment for blood clots near her vital organs. Her status is said to be "really serious."
TMZ is reporting that the Grammy winner was dining in downtown Los Angeles with friends on Sunday night when she began experiencing an accelerated heartbeat. According to a source, Kelly passed out and was unconscious for "a while."
Instead of calling an ambulance, her friends allegedly carried Kelly outside the restaurant and drove her to Cedars-Sinai so she could receive immediate treatment.
Kelly is said to still be in ICU, as doctors have found clots both in her legs and lungs. She has gained and lost consciousness during her stay.
We're told Tori's getting care in the ICU, doctors have discovered clots in Tori's legs and her lungs ... and are still working to determine if any clots are around her heart. The singer's been in and out of consciousness during her hospitalization.
Stay tuned.
Kelly has been preparing for the release of her new EP, tori, which is out this Friday (July 28).
