Organizers of Toronto's Field Trip Music & Arts festival announced Tuesday the event is no longer being sponsored by Nestlé.
"We have heard all of your feedback and concerns as they pertain to Field Trip's sponsorship arrangements with Nestlé," read a statement shared on Facebook. "As a result, Nestlé and Perrier will no longer be a partner of Field Trip 2018."
Field Trip came under fire and faced threats of a boycott for aligning itself with the controversial multinational company, which owns dozens of food and beverage brands.
The festival, which runs June 2 and 3, features headliners Metric and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
Montreal's Osheaga festival currently lists Perrier – owned by Nestlé – as one of its sponsors. The water sponsor for Ottawa's RBC Bluesfest is Eska, which is bottled in Quebec.
