Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena is the only Canadian concert venue to make Billboard’s 2018 “Arena Power List," which was published Tuesday.
The former Air Canada Centre ranked No. 8 on this year’s list, which is based on total ticket sales for the 12 months ending June 17.
According to Billboard’s calculations, the venue grossed $70.2 million U.S. during that period.
It is one of only three venues outside the U.S. to make the cut (London’s O2 Arena placed third and Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena is #7) in the 15,001+ capacity category. The arena was not included on last year’s list.
Topping the 2018 rankings is the T-Mobile Centre in Las Vegas, which raked in $164.4 million U.S.
