Tove Lo revealed on Saturday that she married her boyfriend of three years, Charlie Twaddle.
The 32-year-old Swedish pop star shared a photo in an Instagram Story of the newlyweds showing off their rings that she captioned: “Oops!” (In Northern European countries such as Sweden, wedding bands are often worn on the right hands instead of the left.)
Lo wore a vintage lace gown while the groom wore a powder blue tux with matching bow tie and a ruffled shirt.
Twaddle, who hails from New Zealand, works in video production – he was creative director on three of Lo’s videos.
In an Instagram post wishing Twaddle a happy birthday on June 25, Lo described him as the “love of my life.”
A little over a year ago, she said they were not ready to settle down.
“I guess I’ve found the person, and he is the same age as me, but I feel we are children ourselves so we just can’t,” Lo said.
