Prince's posthumous career has kicked into high gear with the news of two forthcoming releases from the late icon's estate, including a 40-track greatest hits compilation titled Prince 4Ever and a deluxe reissue of Purple Rain.
Both of these albums will contain previously unreleased material from the Purple Wonder's vault.
News of the two albums surfaced on Friday, which details the contents of both releases. Prince 4Ever will drop on Nov. 22 and include the obvious hits ("1999," "Little Red Corvette," "When Doves Cry") as well as some lesser known fan favorites (the solo version of "Nothing Compares to 2 U," "Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad," "Gotta Stop (Messin' About)."
It'll also feature a previously unreleased 1982 cut called "Moonbeam Levels" and a booklet of never-before-seen photos by Herb Ritts.
Purple Rain's reissue, which is set to drop in early 2017, will be remastered and include a second album of previously unreleased material. It's said that this release was put together with the singer's input.
