After word spread this week that Universal Pictures is making a movie about Madonna's beginnings called Blond Ambition, the pop took to social media to declare that she wants absolutely nothing to do with the film.
On Tuesday afternoon, Madonna slammed the film on Instagram, insisting she's the only one that can tell her narrative properly.
"Nobody knows what I know and what I have seen. Only I can tell my story," she captioned a photo of her during her debut years. "Anyone else who tries is a charlatan and a fool. Looking for instant gratification without doing the work. This is a disease in our society."

Penned by Elyse Hollander, Blond Ambition will predominately revolve around Madonna jumpstarting her career with her debut album. It'll also highlight her journey in balancing her explosive fame with sexist industry barriers and, of course, her love life.
Among the singer's hits during that era in her career include "Holiday," "Lucky Star" and "Borderline," but based on Madge's response, we're guessing that none of her original music will be included in the project. Needless to say, this is all starting to become quite the mess.
