Usher on Wednesday remembered his former stepson, Kile Glover, who died following an accident in 2012.
The singer, who divorced Glover’s mother in 2009, posted a photo of the boy on Instagram along with a heartfelt message.
“Though you're gone you still live in my mind. The only thing we ran out of is time. Since you left I ain't been quite the same."
"I wonder if you miss me, do I make you proud. Know you're watching me, I feel your spirit. I keep you right by my side. #Stronger Happy 16th Birthday, Kile$. We miss you."

Glover, the son of Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster, was playing in an inner tube on Lake Lanier in Georgia when a family friend, Jeffrey Simon Hubbard, crashed into him with a personal watercraft.
Glover died two weeks later from brain injuries. He was 11.
Hubbard was convicted of five charges, including homicide by vessel, reckless operation and unlawful operation of a personal watercraft.
