Yesterday (June 4), Ariana Grande's One Love Manchester benefit concert took place in the U.K. to pay tribute to the victims of the bombing that occurred at a previous concert of hers.
Music industry heavy hitters like Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Black Eyed Peas and more took the stage to contribute to the cause. For those who were well aware of the concert's setlist, it was noticed that Usher was the only recording artist who was scheduled to perform, but didn't hit the stage.
This morning (June 5), the Confessions crooner went on Instagram to express his condolences for Manchester U.K. victims. He also revealed the reason why he couldn't attend the benefit concert. "So happy to see that last night's concert in Manchester proved that love always prevails," the singer's IG post started. "I would have loved to be there but It was my son's first day at Camp Kudzu, one of the few summer camps for kids living with diabetes. This was an important day for him and for myself as a proud father. Stay strong U.K."
