The V&A Museum in London, England is looking to hire a Taylor Swift superfan to become its official adviser about the singer-songwriter.
According to the job posting, the museum requires a Swiftie "to help us learn more about our collection at the V&A as well as the current cultural trends that will inform the future of museum collecting."
One area in which the V&A is especially interested is in her fan base's craftmanship, specifically the community's fascination with creating handmade signs and friendship bracelets, which are regularly swapped at Swift's concerts.
The museum, which specializes in art, design and performance, is hoping to appoint an adviser before the European leg of Swift's Eras Tour begins in May. She is scheduled to first hit the UK on June 7 in Edinburgh.
In addition to the Swiftie position, the museum is also looking to fill similar adviser roles for experts in Emojis, Crocs, tufting and Drag culture. Similar enthusiast roles that have already been filled are advisers of Toby jugs, Pokémon cards, Gorpcore clothing and LEGO.
In a statement museum director Dr Tristram Hunt said, "These new advisory roles will help us celebrate and discover more about the enormous, and often surprising, creative diversity on offer at the V&A, as well as helping us to learn more about the design stories that are relevant to our audiences today."
Serious Swifties can submit their applications through the V&A website beginning today (February 23) at the V&A website. The deadline for applying is March 7.
