Britney Spears has shared a video that shows the exact moment she fractured a bone in her foot.
“You can hear where I broke my foot here,” she captioned the cringe-worthy clip. “Sorry it’s kind of loud !!!!!”
The 38-year-old pop star, wearing a sports bra and black shorts, is seen flailing around to Kings of Leon’s “Sex on Fire.” Seconds before the end of the video, a crack is heard and Spears falls to the floor, clutching her foot.
“I haven’t danced in six months so I was full throttle at this spot !!!!,” she explained. “And yes …. I know I’m barefoot …. don’t laugh but I grip the floor better that way !!!!”
Last week, Spears’ boyfriend Sam Asghari shared photos on Instagram in which he wrote “Stronger” – a reference to her 2000 hit – on a cast on her left leg.
He explained that Spears “broke her metatarsal bone on her foot doing what she loves which is dancing.” (Metatarsal bones run between the toes and heel.)
“Wishing her the best recovery so she can jump, run, and dance her butt off,” Asghari wrote.
