5 Seconds of Summer has a brand new album on the way, and fans have already heard two songs from the record – the lead single "Want You Back" and “Valentine."
It’s the first new collection from the Australian band since 2015’s Sounds Good Feels Good.
Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Ashton Irwin and Calum Hood said it was important to take some time “to make the best album possible.”
The guys celebrated their sixth anniversary as a band in December. Clifford tweeted: “Looked at Ashton today as he tapped me on the shoulder and said 'we’ve been a band for 6 years today' and I paused as I realized I’ve been married for 6 years to 3 lanky Australians unintentionally. welp.”
So, being in a band together for six years, the guys obviously know each other very well – or do they? During a recent visit to iHeartRadio, 5 Seconds of Summer played a game of "Who Knows Who Better."
