Paramount+ has released the official trailer for Nöthin’ But A Good Time, its upcoming docuseries about the "‘80s hair metal phenomenon that enthralled generations of music lovers and still influences culture today."
Based on Tom Beaujour and Richard Bienstock's book, Nöthin’ But a Good Time: The Uncensored History of the ‘80s Hair Metal, the three-part series directed by Jeff Tremaine (Jackass, The Dirt) is set to begin streaming on Paramount+ beginning September 17.
According to the press release, the series will offer "fresh and shockingly candid behind-the-scenes look at one of music’s most iconic eras. Each episode showcases the insanity and blazing ambition that has enthralled generations of music lovers and continues to influence culture to this day."
A number the rockers who lived through it have been interviewed, including Bret Michaels (Poison), Stephen Pearcy (Ratt), Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme), Dave “Snake'' Sabo (Skid Row), and Riki Rachtman (MTV's Headbangers Ball), along with insight from Corey Taylor (Slipknot) and Steve-O (Jackass).
