A new docuseries covering the history of Bon Jovi is coming to Hulu and today the streaming network dropped the first trailer.
According to the synopsis, Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story will be a four-part series chronicling "a 40-year odyssey of rock and roll idolatry on the precipice as a vocal injury threatens to bring everything to a screeching halt. As thrilling as the story of a once-in-a-lifetime talent is, it is even more rare that a legend like Jon Bon Jovi lets the world into his most vulnerable moments, while he’s still living them."
The trailer reveals the ups and downs of the band throughout their five decades, in which lives were nearly lost, marriages ended abruptly, and their founding lead guitarist (Richie Sambora) quit unexpectedly.
The in-depth series includes unreleased early demos, original lyrics, never-before-seen footage as well as interviews with members of the band and testimonials from Bruce Springsteen, Obie O'Brien, Everett Bradley, Doc McGhee, Dorothea Bongiovi, Matt Bongiovi, Paul Korzilius and Dean Grillo.
Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story premieres on April 26.
