AC/DC is celebrating the 40th anniversary of Back in Black with a throwback performance of classic rock anthem “You Shook Me All Night Long.”
Filmed in 1981 at Tokyo’s Nippon Seinenkan, it shows Brian Johnson – who had just replaced the late Bon Scott as the band’s frontman – on stage without his trademark newsboy cap. The video was previously featured on AC/DC’s 2007 DVD, Plug Me In.
Back in Black, the band’s seventh studio album, remains one of the best-selling albums in history. Released on July 25, 1980, it achieved Diamond status in Canada for sales of more than 1 million.
