Adele soaked up some local culture on Friday night during a concert in Auckland.
The singer invited a group of Māori performers on stage during the second of three shows in the city to perform a kapa haka — a singing and dancing tradition of New Zealand’s indigenous people.
Adele took a break from belting out her songs at Mount Smart Stadium to watch the group perform.
“How amazing was that Haka?,” she said.
“It was so overwhelming. My eyes can’t stop watering – it’s not the wind, it’s the Haka.”

Adele wrapped up the latest leg of her world tour (which started in February 2016) in Aukland on Sunday. She’s got four concerts scheduled for London between June 28 and July 2.
