Pop stars are just like us in that they too like to sing along to their songs. at the top of his lungs. One Ariana Grande fan learned this recently while riding in a car.
In a TikTok video posted with the caption, "Best day ever, forever!," fan Edwin was singing her 2019 song "imagine" at the top of her lungs, when Grande herself pulled up in a stretch SUV next to the fan, joining him in the sing along.
When the two cars are stopped a red light, Grande expresses her joy in the exchange, smiling and hitting the high notes, while asking for his name, to which he replies, "Edwin! I love you so much!"
"How is this real?" Grande replied, while explaining that she asked her driver to catch up with his car. Adding, "Thank you for making my day," before driving off.
Grande posted her side of the interaction on Instagram Stories, captioning the moment with, "made a friend 🥹🥹🥹🥹 i couldn't believe my ears!!!!!! it was blasting thank you Edwin for making my day."
Naturally, Edwin shared his excitement for Grande's upcoming blockbuster film, Wicked, which arrives in theatres this Friday, November 22.
