Canadian singer Avril Lavigne is joined by ex-husband Chad Kroeger of Nickelback and their fellow Canadian singers Shania Twain and Alessia Cara in a PSA about Lyme disease.

Also appearing in the spot are Bebe Rexha, Rob Thomas and wife Marisol Thomas, actor Wilmer Valderrama and pro basketball player Elena Delle Donne.

“Lyme disease is a global pandemic but not a global priority,” Rexha declares. Twain adds: “Climate change is making the numbers grow faster than ever… but there is hope.”

In 2017, Twain revealed it was Lyme disease, contracted from a tick bite in 2003, that left her unable to sing.

Lavigne, who went public with her own battle with Lyme disease in 2015, is encouraging fans to purchase a T-shirt in support of her eponymous foundation and the Global Lyme Alliance.
