Axl Rose went down hard last Friday night during a Guns N’ Roses show in Las Vegas.
The band was near the end of its cover of Bob Dylan’s “Knocking On Heaven’s Door” at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace when the 57-year-old slipped and fell as he skipped backwards.
“How was that?” he asked the crowd.
Rose stayed down for several seconds before getting up and fetching a towel to wipe down the slippery spot.
He later joked that he “busted my ass for you guys.”
On Twitter, the singer thanked fans for their best wishes and added: “If I hadn’t had the boots, the straps n’ everything I do for my ankles, it would’ve been worse.”
