WATCH Beyonce Delivers Emotional Message In Houston

Beyoncé visited her hometown of Houston, Texas on Friday and gave an emotional and heartfelt speech to those affected by Hurricane Harvey.

"This today is a celebration of survival," Beyoncé told a crowd. "Y'all are my family. Houston is my home. I thank God that y'all are safe, that your children are safe.

"The things that really matter are your health and your children, and your family and your life.”

Beyoncé was joined by mother Tina Knowles and fellow Destiny’s Child bandmate Michelle Williams.

The Lemonade singer spoke at Houston’s St. John’s Church, and later helped pass out food to those in need.
