Fans finally get to hear Beyoncé as Nala thanks to a new teaser of The Lion King.
“Simba, you have to take your place as king,” Queen Bey’s Nala tells the character voiced by Donald Glover. “We need you. Come home.”
The 30-second spot ends with Billy Eichner as Timon and Canada’s Seth Rogen as Pumbaa.
It’s the first time Disney has included the voice of Beyoncé in a promo for its reimagined The Lion King, which opens July 19.
According to reports, Beyoncé teamed up with Elton John to create a new song for the film’s end credits.
