Days ahead of her performance at the Grammy Awards, Billie Eilish has released the video for her latest single, "everything i wanted."
The self-directed visual, which arrived Thursday, shows the young singer driving a car with her brother and collaborator FINNEAS riding shotgun. It's a peaceful ride as the two make their way throughout the city, and similar to the song's narrative, the two are side-by-side as Eilish takes the car off the road and into the ocean. As you might expect, the video ends with the car filling up with water as it slowly sinks to the bottom of the sea.
"My brother and I wrote this song about each other and I wanted to create a visual that emphasizes that no matter what, we’ll be there for each other through everything," Eilish explained, in a release. "This is the second video I’ve directed of mine. We worked so hard, for hours and hours on end. I love it, I hope you do too."
Eilish is up for six awards at this Sunday's Grammys.
