Newlyweds Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani treated fans to an impromptu concert Thursday at the bar he owns in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
“I’ve got some shows coming up soon so I’m gonna be rehearsing today around 4 CT at The Doghouse in Tishomingo,” Shelton posted on social media. “Come on out and get yourself a drink if you’re bored. I repeat it’s only a rehearsal… It may not be good but at least it’s free!”
Shelton and Stefani performed several songs – including his 2019 hit "God's Country" and her 1995 No Doubt hit "Don't Speak" – backed by a band. Some fans drove for hours to catch the duo, according to KTEN.
“I loved when they sang together,” one fan told the local station. “It was really cute, and the way they looked at each other.”
Radio station 93.1 Katy Country captured footage of the performance and shared it on social media.
Shelton and Stefani tied the knot on his ranch in Oklahoma on July 3.
Shelton is on the Friends and Heroes 2021 Tour (with Martina McBride, Tracy Byrd, Trace Adkins and Canada’s Lindsay Ell) from Aug. 18 to Oct. 2 and begins live episodes of Season 21 of The Voice in November. Stefani is scheduled to resume her Las Vegas residency on Oct. 22.
