Brothers Osborne sparked some clever tweets on Thursday when the power went out just as they started performing the halftime show at an NFL game.
The country duo was only a few notes into their set when Ford Field stadium in Detroit lost power.

Stadium management blamed “an outside utility failure.”
Power was restored quickly and Brothers Osborne were able to play a shortened set that included “Stay A Little Longer,” “Shoot Me Straight” and the somewhat fitting “Ain’t My Fault.”
The technical snafu fired up social media. Here's a sampling of reactions:
Uhhhh....halftime? What happened? @Lions @brothersosborne #Lionsvsbears pic.twitter.com/4WgMh1akLR

My apologies to @brothersosborne. As soon as I plugged in my electric turkey fryer the breaker tripped and caused a power outage in my house and in Detroit. You all handled it like champs boys!! #HappyThanksgiving #Lions #Bears #NFL

@brothersosborne keeping cool during the technical difficulties during this game is awesome. Great performers. New fan. #CHIvsDET

I’d love to tweet something snarky about that power outage on @NFLonFOX but for the @brothersosborne to be able to hang in there & still deliver such an amazingly dull #halftime performance took a lot of guts.
