BTS gets animated in a new music video that is packed with nods to the K-Pop group’s past and lots of easter eggs.
“We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal,” off Map of the Soul: 7, is both a tribute to the ARMY and a look at the seven-year journey of the seven members of BTS – RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.
The video offers flashbacks to about a dozen BTS videos, including “Boy With Luv,” “Danger” and “Spring Day.”
ARMY is represented by a purple whale that carried the singers to the stage before exploding into thousands of sparkling lights.
BTS also announced this week that it is releasing a Japanese album, Map of the Soul 7 - The Journey on July 14. It features two new original songs, “Stay Gold” and “Your Eyes Tell,” as well as Japanese versions of hits like “Black Swan” and “Make It Right.”
